My home is in the countryside, and there is a vegetable garden fenced off by my mother near my house. Half of it is planted with vegetables and half is used for raising chickens. At the same time, my mother also raised two dogs, one yellow and white, and one yellow and black. One lived in the southeast corner of the vegetable garden, and the other lived in the northwest side. They faced each other from a distance every day. One is called Wangwang, and the other is also called Wangwang. Due to the serious problem of dog theft in the village, Wangwang is locked in the vegetable garden three times a day, every day of the year, and the only space for activity is the one square meter area near the dog house.
I don't know if the dog knows that it is called Wangwang, or if it knows that the other one is also called Wangwang. Luck or Sorrow#
Wangwang is female, and she is also lucky. Compared to Wangwang, she is allowed to release the dog chain at night, so she has the dominance of the entire vegetable garden at night. Wangwang can only squat in her own nest and watch her frolic and leap. Of course, freedom comes at a price. Once, Wangwang took advantage of a loophole and entered the vegetable garden, killing many cabbage and cauliflower. This was followed by a kind beating from her mother and being "confined" for several days.
Wangwang is male, and he is both sorrowful and lucky. He has a good appearance. Even if he is raised in yellow mud, his fur is shiny and fluffy, not like a dog, but more like a little lion. But because he is a lion, his roar is loud and fierce, and he cannot escape the bondage of the dog chain all day long. As my mother said, "If I let two dogs out of the vegetable garden at night, they can destroy everything for you." He is sorrowful. Fortunately, Wangwang loves him very much. Every night when Wangwang is released, he runs a few laps around the vegetable garden, goes to the bathroom, and then voluntarily comes back to accompany him until morning. Although he has a dog chain hanging around his neck all year round, the meeting in the evening seems to dilute everything.
Production Accident#
Until one day, when the fire was raging, they always had to do something big. As expected, Wangwang became pregnant. I heard it from my mother. I didn't see it at home. Dogs are born with the ability to give birth and raise children in their genes, so we didn't pay much attention to Wangwang and continued to follow the strategy of locking during the day and releasing at night.
One early morning, my mother heard Wangwang making an unusual whimpering sound. She only glanced at the balcony to confirm Wangwang's safety and didn't pay much attention. It wasn't until she entered the vegetable garden in the morning that she discovered that the newborn puppies, who hadn't even opened their eyes, had fallen into the fish pond in the middle of the vegetable garden. Since Wangwang usually doesn't have the habit of swimming, she could only whimper by the side. Wangwang was also depressed for several days because of this.
Chinese New Year#
Chinese New Year is not a significant event for humans, but for Wangwang, it is also a period of "regaining freedom". Because I came back, Wangwang can get about twenty minutes of playtime every day, which is the only time she can take a look at the village.
Since my family only has one spare dog chain, only one dog can be released at a time. As long as you dare to release Wangwang, she will definitely become anxious, barking and jumping around with a fragrant mouth. If I understand dog language, Wangwang should roughly say, "Why did you release it? What about me? Why don't you release me? Obviously, I wagged my tail first, obviously, I came first. WDNMD." Even if I don't understand, judging from Wangwang's posture and tone, it should be something like this.
As long as you walk a dog into the sight of the other dog, it will keep whimpering. The only way is to walk far away until it can't see it anymore: "So love can disappear, right?" Then it will lie down next to its own nest.
Maybe it's because of its extraordinary bones, or maybe it's because it hasn't been released for a long time. The dog's strength is extremely strong, and it even has the rhythm of dragging you away. Walking the dog for 20 minutes can be considered as a day's worth of exercise.
The family next door has three dogs that are allowed to roam freely. Every time I take the lion-like Wangwang out for a walk, they need to stand together tightly, afraid that our Wangwang will tear them apart if they are left alone. In fact, Wangwang is very gentle, except for being a little stronger.
Another Birth#
After the New Year, what left home was not only me and my thoughts, but also Wangwang's concern for me and her longing to roam the village. At the same time, Wangwang became pregnant again. This time, my mother and I discussed many matters regarding how to take care of the puppies. Unfortunately, on the day of my departure, I still couldn't wait for the moment she gave birth.
